[Rifter]

Following and limping slightly, he ignored the pain his ankle was sending to him, tucking his wings under his cloak, "In my current state? I'm probably second. If my ankle wasn't like it is now? Probably a close first."

[Rynn]

"I think I can do it. Plus since I don't have wings it would be easier for me to run through without standing out or being conspicuous."

[Jak]

"Then we'll have Kal fly around, perhaps dropping stones. I shall kick up dirt with my wings and get soldiers after me. And Valene shall go in to save Leon"

[Rifter]

Kal nodded, "Sounds good to me. If I run out of stones, I can always dive bomb them and needle them with my sword if need be. Though I might have to fall back if flying becomes too much for me."

[Jak]

"We just need to give Valene and Leon time to get out"

[Rifter]

"I know that." Kal said.

[Rynn]

"Alright. Then we have a plan." Valene took a breath. She had to be faster than ever before. She had no idea what the camp was like, or how big it was, but she would find Leon, and get herself and him out of there. "When do we strike?"

[Jak]

"The moment we get there," Aldan replied "Valene, I'll ask you to stay behind for a few moments so myself and Kal can cause a sufficient disturbance"

[Rynn]

Valene nodded. "Alright. I guess I'll know when to run in eh?"

[Rifter]

"Valene, I must ask, how are you with a sword?"

((Does Valene have any weapons? If so, I can just say that Kal hasn't noticed them))

[Rynn]

((She has a dagger and a hammer, not a big hammer though.))

"I'm not an expert, but I do know some things about fighting with a sword. Though my talent is stronger in making them."

[Rifter]

((Alright))

Kal paused for a moment, "Though I'm not a fan of the option, perhaps, you might do better against the soldiers if you had something that could hack through their armour. Would you like to borrow my blade for this fight? It'll just weigh me down in the air." He quickly unsheathed the darkened blade for her to see.

[Rynn]

((I suspect it's a good sword xD))

Valene gazed at the sword. It looked amazing. "Uh, yes sure! I'd be honored." She took the handle and held the sword in front of her. It wasn't too heavy. "I'll be able to keep people away with this."

[Rifter]

((It is. It was forged especially for Kal.))

Kal smiled, "Forged as a gift, my step-father and his son put all of their skill into it, sharp enough to stab completely through a man, and stout enough to hack through the most armour. According to him, there's something else about this sword, but I haven't figured out what."

((The "something else" is for later on. I'll explain it later if you want.))

[Jak]

((Please explain. I want to know if it fits in this roleplay's setting))

With the camp finally in sight, Aldan stopped and said "this is it. Is everyone prepared? We might not get a second chance"

[Rifter]

Kal moved his cloak so that both of his wings were revealed, reaching for the corners of the cloak, he revealed small metal snaps, which he clipped to the clips that adorned the hem of his grey coat. Turning his head, he looked over his wing, he sighed, "It's looking a little bit better, but not by much. But... I'm ready." Stooping down, he picked up two handfuls of stones and shoved them into his pockets, he looked around, trying to find some larger rocks.

((His cloak doubles as an impromptu parachute, just in case his wing fails))

[Rynn]

Valene held the sword in front of her. "Well, I'm very honored to be wielding a sword as powerful as this one." She took a deep breath. "Are you ready Aldan?"

[Jak]

Aldan nodded, then said "on the count of three. 1... 2... 3!"

Aldan rushed forward, using his wings to give himself more momentum. He burst through the gate of the camp and started attacking guards, tossing them left and right.

[Rifter]

The moment that Aldan started running, Kal took to the air, his injured wing sending spasms of pain into him. Flying over a rock that was about half the size his chest, he picked it up, wings straining, "Dammit." He muttered. Finally he managed to lift it off the ground, he flew carefully over the camp, then let go of the rock.

Judging by the cries of pain he heard, he knew that he had managed to strike a number of the men down there.

[Rynn]

Valene ran through the gates with the sword in hand. So far she didn't run into trouble. The guards were either being beaten up by Aldan or having rocks dropped on their heads by Kal.

She ran and was looking all over the place, but so far hadn't found Leon. She might have to start calling his name out to find him.

((I have no idea what this camp is supposed to look like xD))

[Jak]

((Think something similar to Ganon's Castle, only not as corny and with more interrogation rooms with torture devices))

Leon sat in the corner of his cold room, the only cloth on him being a blindfold over his eyes and gag in his mouth. Though badly bruised, Leon seemed alright.

[Rynn]

Valene ran as fast as she could. She had to swing the sword at a few soldiers, but most seemed to be occupied with the other two. She had to be faster. They couldn't keep it up forever.

She kicked down a few doors, and some of them came with surprises. One of them had a bunch of bats fly at her face. Not fun.

Another door had a bigger soldier in it. She slammed the door in his face and ran for the stairs.

She kicked down one door, and found what she was looking for. "Leon!"

[Jak]

Leon mumbled something through his gag, it was obvious that he was exhausted.

[Rifter]

On Kal's second round of dropping stones, he heard the musical twang of bowstrings and he could've sworn he heard the click of rifles. "Crap." He muttered as he dropped the rock and veered off to the right, dropping the rock earlier than he intended to.

Pain coursed through his left wing as two bullets and an arrow pierced the membrane, he gasped with the pain. Veering off far to the right, he let the wind take him and his makeshift parachute back in the direction they had attacked from. Landing in a tree, he scurried to get out of sight. He hoped that his black clothes were enough to conceal himself.

[Rynn]

Valene ran over and used the tip of her sword to cut off his blind fold and gag. "What did they do to you?" She asked as she worked on cutting his bonds.
