[Rynn]

"Ah, that's good." Kendrix glanced at the infirmary. "So, last I heard the new demi-god was at camp? Where is he?"

[Rifter]

Jason sat in a nearby chair and pointed to the new descendant as Chiron walked carefully over to him, making sure not to catch anyone underhoof.

[Rynn]

Kendrix looked at the newcomer and went wide eyed. "What happened to him?"

[Jak]

"Manticore and Lamia" Bodie replied

[Rifter]

"The usual that happens to a kid of one of the Big Three."

[Rynn]

"The Big Three?!.... What? What big three? I'm still new here."

[Jak]

"Zeus... Posideon... Hades..." Alastor rasped

[Rifter]

"The three brothers who fought over who should take dominion over the skies, the waters and the Underworld." Jason breathed, his side still hurting.

[Rynn]

"Oooh. Oh yea, I remember learning about them in one of my classes." Kendrix glanced over at the new boy. "I guess the Big Three aren't welcomed." He looked at the guy on the other bed. "What happened to him?" Then he turned to the guy on the chair. "Are you alright?"

[Jak]

Bodie pointed to Alastor and said "Manticore bite," then to Jason "pain"

[Rifter]

Jason nodded, "Manticore got me good in the side when I went to rescue the new kid. And, kids of the Big Three are rare, and so they attract the attention of the less desirable creatures of the world that the mortals don't see."

[Rynn]

"Wow. Crazy stuff." Kendrix sat on a chair. "Man, I've never been chased or even fought one of those monsters. I think I was stalked a few times by one, but not a whole lot to me." He leaned back on the chair, then looked at the guy standing. "Um... what happened to your eye anyway?"

[Jak]

Bodie froze, fazed, then answered "Lamia ate it"

[Rynn]

"Oh wow. That-" Wait... I should probably avoid saying 'that must've sucked' "Um... Ok. Thanks for telling me." He replied awkwardle, then he opened his sketchbook and started to doodle.

[Rifter]

"Sometimes it bites to be a kid of one of the Big Three." Then a thought hit him, getting up, "I'll be back in a bit, heading down to the lake to heal." As he left, he muttered, "Why didn't I think of that sooner?"

Chiron watched Jason as he left, shaking his head, he leaned over the newcomer, "Welcome to Camp Half Blood, son of Hades."

[Jak]

Keeran sat up shakily and took a shallow breath. He removed the bandages around his head, revealing only a few purple bruises left, and said "Hades is a myth"

[Rynn]

Kendrix looked up from his sketchbook. "That's what I said about Athena!" Then he stared and then turned back to his book.

[Jak]

Alastor sat up and said "I think everyone has, at least once, claimed their godly parent did not exists"

[Rifter]

Chiron moved slightly so that he was completely in Keeran's view, revealing his equine hindquarters, "Don't myths have some base in fact?"

[Jak]

"The fact being the person was either high or delusional"

[Rynn]

"Not always." Kendrix looked up. "Like now. Just look at this guy! He's a centaur! And weren't you just attacked by some mythological creatures? If you could look at yourself now it wouldn't be much of a delusion."

[Jak]

Keeran replied with a flat "you haven't suffered from many illnesses or medical side-effects have you..."

[Rynn]

"Um... no. But when you're better you can take a look around. I'm sure not everything would be a delusion. At least, I'm sure it wouldn't to you..."

[Jak]

Hermia sat up and said

Kendrix stared at the girl. "Um... I did not... understand a word you just said. Like, at all."
