[Rynn]

"Wha-" Valene was twisted around when Aldan turned. She let go of his hand to jog beside him. They should be helping Leon.

[Rifter]

"Bah." Kal spat as he ran, the soldiers following him. He glanced back at his injured wing. "Not good, but..." Stopping for all of a brief moment, he leaped into the air, his right wing sending out spasms of pain. Almost immediately, he could hear the groaning of bowstrings, "Crap." He muttered.

[Jak]

As arrows flew through the air Leon leapt up and stuck them with his dagger, sending them off course. He followed the person in flight, thinking it was Aldan, then looked up and realized

"Who the f**k're you?"

[Rifter]

"I'd like to ask th-" Suddenly, his wing gave out, webbing splitting slightly more, sending him into the ground and a face full of dirt, he groaned with the pain, "Owwwwwww...."

[Jak]

Leon rolled his eyes and went down to the wounded man. Soldiers came around them, so Leon did what he did best: He started cackling like a maniac and lashing out with his dagger as he dodged bullets and knocked swords away. After successfully scaring the soldiers off for the moment Leon looked down from where he squatted on a lamp post and said "man, you kinda suck shit. I bet Aldan could have fared better"

[Rifter]

Getting up and wiping his face off, "A little hard when my wing is screwed to shit! But...thanks..."

[Jak]

Leon let himself fall from the lamp post, though managed to twist in the air so he landed on his feet, and said "I ain't don't jack shit yet! Now git goin' dumbass." Leon grabbed the stranger by the wrist and pulled him along, maneuvering around soldiers or beating them senseless if unavoidable.

((Yeeeeaaaaahhh Leon can be a bit of an ass when pretending to be crazy. Also, he likes to swear. A lot. Whenever possible))

[Rifter]

Kal barely struggled, he knew he couldn't get too far with his wing in it's current state, and he was pretty sure he managed to screw his ankle when he crashed into that roof earlier. This was shaping up to be one of his worst nights in the past while.

[Jak]

((Oh, I should probably say this: Dragon Eyes register fog and smoke as illusions, they can see through this. But they can't see through dust or kicked up dirt))

They suddenly found themselves surrounded. Leon fought off the soldiers to give the stranger an escape, but after a long hard fight a soldier tossed dirt into his eyes to blind him then knocked him out so two other soldiers could drag him away.

((Yep, Leon is captured. Since he made no note of Leon's eyes I'm guessing Kal doesn't know he's a Dragon Marked))

[Rifter]

((Yeah...no...no he doesn't know))

Kal managed to move swiftly enough to evade the last of soldiers, he half ran down a few alleys. Breathing hard, he tucked his wings under his cloak, being careful about his bad wing, "Not. My. Night." He spat.

Why'd they capture him anyways? He was helping a Dragon Child? He thought to himself, No, there's something else to this.

((We should wait))

[Rynn]

Valene rounded the corner with Aldan and stopped in her tracks when she saw Leon being taken away. "Oh crap. Really?" There goes our psycho support.

((Wasn't sure what to respond with :l))

[Jak]

Aldan hesitated. What should they do?

[Rifter]

Kal walked slowly back onto the main street, his ankle beating him like his wing, he looked down the way the soldiers had gone, "Not a good night."

((He's on the same road as the rest of them))

[Rynn]

"We can't get him right now. There is too many of them. Lets get to the woods and figure out what to do there." Wanting to get out of the village before the guards see them, she turned and ran. She looked behind to make sure Aldan was following and she bumped into someone.

((That "someone" would be Kal xD))

[Rifter]

Kal went skidding forwards, face receiving another treatment, his eyes streaming as the person had collided with his hidden bad wing, "OWWWWW!" He half moaned, half howled, "Not my night!" He cried out.

[Jak]

Aldan groaned "n-not ours either! You just got their attention!!"

[Rynn]

"Oh God no!" Valene exclaimed as she got off the stranger. "We... have to run. Are you ok man?" She asked the stranger.

[Rifter]

Kal's eyes thinned, "Hell..." Turning around to face them, "...I've seen better days. My fault that the soldiers are...more active. We should scram." He manuvered his arm and hand to reach under his cloak and check his wing, "I'll be lucky to fly again once this night is over..." He muttered.

[Jak]

Aldan took Valene's hand and just started running

[Rifter]

Kal half ran after him, his ankle now giving him more trouble, I'm a glutton for punishment tonight, aren't I?

((Yes. Yes you are. ))

[Rynn]

Valene caught herself under her feet and ran beside Aldan, still holding his hand. Into the woods they went. When they got farther Valene pulled lightly in Aldan's arm. "Ok... we... should rest for... a bit. I'm not used... to running... this much..."

[Jak]

Aldan doubled over, supporting himself on his knees, and panted out "I *pant* a-a-agree *pant*"

[Rifter]

Kal fell to his knees once he had seen that they had stopped, "Hell." He panted, eyes tight from pain. He had that copper-like blood taste in his mouth, Not my night....

((Goddamn broken record...))

[Rynn]

Valene turned to the stranger and knelt in front of him, still somewhat catching her breath. "Are you... alright?"

[Rifter]

"Battered, bruised, pretty sure my ankle is swollen, and my...back is killing me." Kal spat a globule of thick saliva towards one of the nearby trees.
