When it comes to Origin they were either from The Circle, or they were taken from anywhere in Ferelden. The Dalish usually don't fear The Circle since humans stay away, Saeran being the victim of slavers

Here's his bio: Born in the Kirkwall Alienage, Ammun began to show a talent for magic, particularly Force magic, at around 4 years because of an incident involving a few human children pretty much torturing him and giving him the scars at both corners of his mouth. Ammun was soon after brought into The Circle and excelled in his training in the years leading up to his undergoing the Harrowing.

His origin is listed as the Kirkwall Alienage, is that okay?

Denerim is the only one I know of. Kirkwall has it's own Circle so Ammun wouldn't even be in Ferelden.

If he's from Denerim his name would be English, Scottish, or Irish. The only ones that really have 'fantasy' names are the Dalish.

For example: 'Saeran' is Irish, and Cadros(Not his birth name) is named after a (real-world)god of war or battle(can't remember which)

What I had mind was that Ean was recruited a year prior when a Grey Warden found him defending some people, showing his power with magic. This idea is really rough as I just came up with it and I'm getting tired.

He could show off his power in The Circle, when a Grey Warden goes there to recruit they go to The First Enchanter to ask who has potential. Otherwise, not many opportunities to show off
