just not overpowerd and stick to one ability (Cat's Cradle only works on flesh, Jump Cannon does no damage, etc)

Okay... This'll be fun...

Considering that both of your future characters have agent handles, I've already decided on a handle for mine, Agent Orion.

Also, for my character's future self, could he be one of the scientists serving "Her?" This way, there could be a possible explanation of how all of the future characters got a hold of the Time Vortex.

The agent handle is since they are a part of the rebellion. These handles reflect on the character in some way (Sirius - a loyal dog, Eric is loyal. Alucard - 'Dracula' backwards, Terry is undead)

as for being a scientist - sure. You could even be the one that worked on Terry and/or Eric

Crap. Now I'm fully stumped on a special item for the present version of my character... I'm half considering something akin to the Beam Katana from No More Heroes (Wii video game)

Probably, if it's active for too long (say 5 to 8 minutes) it overheats and can't be used again for maybe 20?

Mostly for attacking. If I go with this, present Logan, will be very offense-orientated, but the future Logan, defense-orientated.

Perhaps for the katana he can have it out as long as he needs, but once he sheaths it he has to wait an equal amount of time before he can use it again?

I just realized something: if Logan was unloyal he was probably with the rebelion at the time when the Time Vortex was taken, and in Future Eric's profile I said Eric was the one that grabbed the Time Vortex

Well, one angle that I want to go with, was that Logan was a member of the resistance on the inside of the 'corporation' or something, and recognized Eric and deliberately sabotaged the project to make sure he (Eric) survived through a Trojan Horse-like scheme, which got him his handle "Odysseus" and Logan made it easier for Eric to steal the Vortex.

In the condition the Time Vortex was in, I doubt Logan would have let him take it when he did. It's actually very unstable
