Bio: Saeran Surana lived in the Brecilian forest with his family and dalish clan until he was five years old. Slavers attacked and kidnapped almost half of the clan along with himself and his family. Saeran's sibling was sold to a corrupt Templar who only cared about getting the credit for finding apostates, his father was killed trying to escape, and he and his mother were sold to Bann Vaughan, son of the Arl of Denerim. Saeran's mother was kept as Vaughan's personal 'pet', and Saeran was his whipping boy. Saeran developed a limp from the years of abuse and Bann Vaughan decided he was useless. He threw Saeran out, quite literally, and then he was mistaken for a thief after wandering too close to a merchant stall by accident. Luckily the merchant defended him, much to his surprise. The merchant invited Saeran to his home and offered him some food. The merchant listened to Saeran's tale, even comforted the weeping elf, but had nothing to offer but what bread he could spare. Saeran ended up traveling to Lothering to find work

Bio: Cadros was a rare instance where a human was sold into slavery. To save themselves from being thrown onto the streets, a family of refugees sold their son to a powerful magister. This magister abused Cadros unusual strength and often had him fight to the death. The Magister infused Lyrium into Cadros' blood, granting him the unnatural ability to phase through solid objects(only flesh, much to his master's disappointment). Though this ability proves useful, the lyrium in his blood causes Cadros constant pain, making him sensitive to even the lightest touch, and emotionally stifled him. Due to the pain of having lyrium infused directly into his blood, Cadros suffered from amnesia. His master taught him his name and place, leaving out any other 'unimportant detail'. After years of faithful service the magister betrayed Cadros' family, leaving them to die in the street while Cadros was unaware.

For fun, Cadros was ordered to kill a rival magister and then kill everyone else in the rival's mansion. It proved too much for Cadros and so he ran. Cadros managed to hitch a ride all the way to Ferelden. He was set upon by darkspawn and was tainted whilst on the run from his master who had followed him. By chance, Duncan was passing by and saved him. He went through The Joining and survived, gaining the nickname 'Fen'Harel' from a former Dalish when they learned of the massacre Cadros had performed. He was at Ostagar when Cailan was killed, and he was in the tower during the betrayal.
Other: Cadros was given the lyrium in his blood after his master found out that a rival magister had infused one of their slaves with lyrium under the skin(Fenris from the game)

Appearance: Wears a cloth scarf across the lower half of his face. Also, just the face.

Bio: Born in the Denerim Alienage, Ean began to show a talent for magic, particularly Force magic, at around 4 years because of an incident involving a few human children pretty much torturing him and giving him the scars at both corners of his mouth. Ean was soon after brought into The Circle and excelled in his training in the years leading up to his undergoing the Harrowing. A year later (age 19), a Grey Warden came to the Circle that he belonged to and recruited Ean after being told by The First Enchanter about his potential.
Other: Hides the scars he obtained during his childhood as he had come to the realization that they were distractions for those around him.
