Judging by the OP of the Kiseki RP, the Kokoro stones are embedded within the person?

Yes, that's explained in the notes. The five elements have a different area:

Fire - stomach, right at the bellybutton

Earth - back of the neck, at the base

Water - between the breasts

Wind - back of the non-dominant hand

Lightning - can form in either ankle

These stones aren't found, the body develops it and it forms in it's respective area. For example, when Denahi(not the priest) gained his Kokoro Stone he was holding his stomach from the pain. When he removed his hands the stone was there

Sadly, that's not how Kokoro Stones form.

For a Lightning Kokoro, Lucas would have to fear for his life or almost die from fear. I think the bit with the priests confused you, the priests were given their Kokoro Stones by a goddess for what filled their hearts, years later the only way to get one is through suffering.

For example, if Lucas was afraid of snakes and he was trapped in a pit of them then the stone would form.

Also, forgot to put this in the notes, when a Kokoro Stone is formed the character is surrounded by whatever element they formed. Denahi was surrounded by fire, and Lucas would have been surrounded by lightning strikes

Deleted his profile and reopened it on my computer. I'll play around with it a bit. And yeah, I was confused a bit.

I think I'll change Lucas' to earth. Anything I have to keep in mind?

Earth is one of the slowest Kokoro elements, meaning he's better off playing a defensive role in fights.

Like it says in the notes, he can't grow anything that doesn't grow naturally. So he can grow a rose, but not a mandrake

To create an Earth Kokoro, he would have either felt defenseless himself, or incapable of protecting someone close to him that couldn't fight for themselves, resulting in their death.

He'll want to avoid any contact with his neck by anything. The sensitivity of the area around a Kokoro Stone is enough to make a poke feel like a jab.
