Welcome to Nowhere. Well, that's what I call it.
This used to be a city. Oh it has buildings and such, but you kinda need people for it to be a city. When I woke up in a store at the mall I expected the worst, but nothing happened. I think that's what scared me the most, the emptiness of it all. The streets were empty and looked like a war zone, but despite pools of blood there were no bodies.
Just what the hell happened? I wish I knew, but I don't even know how long I was out. My only hope is that I'm not the only person left...

Plot

)- If you REALLY gotta know what's up:
- Aliens with the ability to psychically connect to the minds of humans and fuse bodies have come to earth. In an attempt to save earth from the 'hostile' aliens, the military was ordered to take all important peoples to a bunker to wait for the aliens to leave and kill everyone else. The aliens actually intended to save humans from a deadly virus by connecting to them and 'sharing' their immunity to it.
Though these Aliens can look human, either by fusing or 'morphing', their true form is closer to humanoid water with eyes like gems varying in color. If you'd like an alien character please talk to me so I can tell you important plot info necessary for alien characters. Only limit: 1 alien per rper
Rules
- The Usual
- For plot purposes, no scientists, doctors, or important connections. No exceptions
- The setting is New York (mid september of 2005), but the characters will end up travelling a lot
- Technology no longer works unless battery powered or running on a fuel powered generator
- Any questions, just ask

Jack stood on top of a broken SUV and stared blankly at the road ahead, lightly tapping his bloody bat against his leg. He wasn't exactly sure what he was looking for... or was he waiting for something? God he hated when he forgot what he was doing, it couldn't be mentally healthy.
